Tomorrow, 12 July 2009, there will be another historical event in Iran -- the Presidential Election.
This time, 4 candidates will be elected by the Iranians to be their President and they are the present President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, former Prime Minister Mirhossein Mousavi, former Parliament Speaker Mehdi Karoubi; and Mohsen Rezaie, a former commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards.
Ahmadinejad, a worldwide-known Iranian leader for his policy on Iran's nuclear program and denying the Holocaust, will be the President for the 2nd term if he win this election. However, Mousavi is going to be his main contender this time.
Personally, I hope Ahmadinejad will lead Iran again. For me, Iran under Ahmadinejad administration is an ideal example of establishment of "a democratic, stable and strong Islamic nation", which should be followed and supported by all OIC members without hesitation.
From my point of view, Ahmadinejad is an optimist. He believe that united Islamic nations will make the non-Islamic nations rely on us, but because of DISUNITY between those Islamic nations, people see his vision as threat.
As the time moving, I keep praying for the winning of Ahmadinejad. May Allah bless him. Amin...
